We recommend that you keep traffic off the carpet for at least 2 hours.
If you must walk on the carpet wear rubber soled shoes or socks.
Walking on freshly cleaned carpet with bare feet may leave oil spots.
- How long will it take my carpet to dry?
Normal drying time is from 6 to 24 hours. It depends on humidity, air movement,
and the temperature in the room. Do not be alarmed if it takes longer especially
when Teflon or Scotchgard is applied.
- How long will it take my furniture to dry?

Teflon or Scotchgard is an important protection for keeping carpets clean.
It will wear off as the carpet wears and will eventually need reapplied.
Areas of your carpet that have heavy traffic may need an application every time
your carpets are cleaned. Other areas may need it every other time.
- How often should I have my carpet or furniture cleaned?
Major carpet manufacturers recommend every 6 to 18 months depending on the amount
of traffic in the house. Rooms that you used most often, such as family rooms and dining rooms
probably should be cleaned every 6 months. Rooms used less frequently may be cleaned every
12 to 18 months. You are the best judge. When you start seeing soil you should have
it cleaned.
